We strive to produce well rounded PWD of good health, breed type, temperament and a good family member since acquiring our 1 st PWD in 1984.

As mentioned above, we started with this breed in September 1984 when my wife and children decided to have 2 PWD puppies who became a part of our family. The decision was made after visiting breeders along the east coast from North Carolina to New York. We were also introduced to Champion Isadora De Mar in Arizona while talking with other early owners of the breed.

Since the formation of LaSerene Kennel in 1984, LaSerene has strived to produce well rounded PWDs with good health, breed type, and temperament. With 37 years of experience combined with tried and true selective breeding, in-depth pedigree research and strict adherence to the PWDCA health test requirements; we have reached our goal. 

Our puppies are placed in homes based on two primary areas of focus. The first priority is to always welcome them and treat them as a new member of our family. Our objectives and goals always come second. This philosophy has earned our dogs many achievements including: International Championship titles, Canadian Best In Show, Multiple American Champions, Multiple Grand Champions, Obedience Titles ,and Agility Titles.
