Ladies of La Serene
Cierra
Cierra was the foundation bitch for LaSerene Kennel. She was the 1 st multi-titled PWD bitch with her International, South American, Puerto Rico, Champion of the Americans, American Championships along with her CD and TD. She was a great mother and had great temperament. She was the daughter of one of the earlier top producing stud dogs in our breed and the first of this breed to win a Group 1 , Ch. Alfama Uberrima of Regala .
Diva
Diva was the daughter of Déjà Vu out of that litter of who finished their championship before the age of 2. As her name implied. She was the Diva of the house. She was a great example of a PWD bitch in type and temperament. She like a few of her other litter mates are in the pedigrees of a few other well known Kennels.
Lady Marmalade
Lady Marmalade is fondly called KD. She is the daughter of CT and demonstrates her pedigree both in obtaining her championship while also getting her Open Agility and Novice Agility Jumper before the age of 2 ½. She is continuing her activities in performance. We are looking forward to seeing what other performance titles she acquires throughout her upcoming years of life.
Vogue
Vogue is the littermate of multi-Group placing Gunnar and Notabee. Vogue is unique in her personality and PWD determination to do it her way. She is my 1st BRED by Owner Handled Champion as of 2023 after I, Thomas Strain , have been with this breed since 1984. She loves the pool and we are looking forward to dock diving and waterworks with her in the future.
Déjà Vu was our star in many ways. Daughter of Cierra and our boy DoBE, she was La Serene’s multiple Group placing dog including back to back Group 1’s one weekend early in her career. She was also among the top bitches in our breed for a few years. She was the producer of a litter of 8, whom all completed their championship before the age of 2. One of that litter whom was called Whoopie went on to get her Canadian championship and Canadian BIS.
Journi
Journi is also one of the household’s American GCH and International CH. Her pedigree goes back to my foundation bitch ( So. Am,Int, Puerto Rican, Champion of the America’s, American Ch Regala’s Cierra of LaSerene CD TD) who was the 1st multi titled PWD Bitch and who’s lineage after her produced multiple American Ch, Int Ch, Group1 placing dogs, Group placing dogs and a Canadian BIS. Journi’s temperament, build & pedigree are her major attributes.
Rhea
Rhea is one of the daughters of CT and one of our upcoming stars. She is avery sound bitch with a lot of energy. She like others of the household loves the pool. We are looking forward to her finishing her championship and then, like her champion half-sister, go on to do performance activities.
Sammie
Sammie is SPECIAL in many ways. From her production of multiple Champions, Group placing Champions ( Gunnar and his sister Notabee) before age 19 months to her personality and also rapid achievement of her championship and GCHB in roughly 9 months. Her personality has made her have a fan club in different areas of the USA both in the dog show and non-dog show world.
Peppa
Like Vogue, Peppa is the littermate of the multi-Group placing Gunnar and Notabee. She surprised us at LaSerene Kennel when she really started to show at age 18 months and finished her championship title in only a few months. We are looking forward to trying her in performance activities in the near future .
